Hello Wonderful, Creative Being!

Thank you for landing here with me. My intention is to offer you some musings and resources for inspiration and warmth, as well as opportunities to cherish yourself and ignite your boundless Creative Spirit.

Let's start with some oracle cards! I absolutely adore oracle cards. I use them daily for personal nourishment and guidance as well as with all my clients, family members and friends. I highly recommend playing with these miniature, potent works of art and expression.

I hope you felt some connection or curiosity towards these beautiful cards and the wisdom from their guidebooks.

I was so moved by the stunning color harmony of the glow-y yellows. I love the delicate but fierce and content canary, and all the orbs - la luna, el sol.

There is strong encouragement in these cards to express ourselves authentically, unashamedly and to be bathed in the beauty of our own inner light. To take a leap of faith and share ourselves courageously.

I've been experiencing a somewhat turbulent internal dance between feeling a powerful desire to use my creative vision & voice in ways that I haven't before, and an increased tenderness - a need and a call to pull inward, and soothe my anxious spirit. At times it's felt like I'm in a cool, dense forest with just glimmers of light making their way through the thick canopy of leaves. I've heard several clients and friends speak to a very similar experience.

I am reminded that we are still in spring. Gaia has yet to unleash her fullest earthy expression and harvest. As we are one with La Tierra, we are also only just beginning to reveal the renewal and greater expression of our soul's mission. Engaging with my Creative Spirit has been a lifeline during this liminal energetic intensity. I never cease to be amazed by how even a small and simple creative act can restore my sense of patience and wonder.

Here's one of my simple and small creative acts from this week.

After this brief creative pour-in, I was able to breathe deeper during the rest of the hike. I found myself smiling. My eyes were open wider and I noticed purple and white flowers I hadn't seen before. I began noticing the textures of the bark and seeing the knots and indentations on the trees as eyes and mouths, delighted by the faces I was imagining. I finally felt present, integrated and embodied.

That's the limitless power of our Creative Spirit – it reconnects us with the restorative life force of the universe. It reconnects us to Love.

“Being creative" is also one of the hardest acts that exist in this lifetime. We are faced with almost immediate resistance, doubt, fear and shame. It takes tremendous courage and determination to show up for our Creative Self. It can feel like an impossible wall to break down alone – and that's because it is almost impossible to break it down alone! I certainly cannot.
